August 2025 Angel Card Pull – Balance, Communication, and Responsibility

Here’s how the three-card pull works:

  • First/Second Card: Reflects on lessons from the past and what you’re taking stock in.

  • Third Card: Focuses on what you’re cultivating in the present.

  • Fourth Card: Represents the outcome of aligning past and present energies. Past + present = the outcome.

About the Cards

Blank Card

A blank angel card is a call to turn inward and listen.

Practice: Pause, close your eyes, and tune into the space of your heart energy. Create your own intention by asking, What do I need to cultivate now and in the month ahead? Maybe it's a sense of ease, steadiness, kindness, connection, non-resistance, or flexibility in mind and action. Breathe into this intention throughout each day. Let each breath bring you closer to it. Notice how your intention shows up in your life, and celebrate it.

Breathe in: I am breathing in [insert your intention here, boiled down to 1 or 2 words].

Breathe out: I am breathing out the effects of this energy.

Balance

Cultivating balance is the art of understanding your emotions as they arise.  It begins by noticing your inner landscape and acknowledging your limits. Are you being realistic with what you can do in a day? It’s okay not to do it all. Balance asks us to harmonize daily tasks with our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Practice: Spend time each day in quiet contemplation, tuning into your mind, body, and eternal self. Continuously bring your attention back to the moment, back to presence. Notice what you feel in your body, mind, and spirit. Acknowledge what you need to take better care of yourself.

Affirmation: My body teaches me about balance.

Breathe in: I am breathing in this moment.

Breathe out: I am breathing out what doesn’t serve this moment.

Communication

Communication is associated with the fifth chakra and clauraudience, which means to perceive and hear what’s inaudible. Effective communication requires us to listen to our inner voice, hear the truth, and speak truthfully from an open heart. Clear and loving communication is the foundation for shared understanding.

The fifth chakra’s element is ether, which represents the realm of the inaudible. Presence reveals the truth beneath the noise of the mind. When we slow down, we hear and speak more clearly.

Practice: Listen more than you speak this month. Do this especially with loved ones, and even more so in moments of distress. Notice what you hear as a curious and observant listener.

Affirmation: I slow down so I can hear and speak the truth of things.

Breathe in: I am breathing in spaciousness.

Breathe out: I am breathing out freedom.

Responsibility

When we move through life without intention, we get pulled in every direction. What we consume, who we engage with, and what we think about all shape how we show up. But we’re responsible for the vibes we bring to the party of life. What mindset or mood do you bring? You may find that who and what you invest your energy in isn’t aligned with how you want to show up.

Practice: Be aware of where you’re putting your attention. Notice what you’re taking in through your eyes, ears, mouth, nose, and skin. Be deliberate in how you show up, coming back to the intention you created earlier. Is your intention aligned with the ripple effect you want to make in the world?

Affirmation: I am responsible for how I show up today and every day.

Breathe in: I am breathing in presence.

Breathe out: I am breathing out responsibility.

We find balance, become better communicators, and cultivate responsibility through presence. We build presence by turning inward and following our breath. There isn’t a shortcut. It just takes consistent practice.

Show up for yourself, even when it’s uncomfortable. If life is busy, start with 5 minutes of quiet contemplation daily. You won’t be perfect at it, and that’s okay. What matters is that you keep coming back.

It may feel messy at first, but over time it gets easier. That’s how we build consistency and expand presence in our lives.
